As part of the booking process, we may receive and process personal data from you. If that occurs, we are deemed to be the "controller" of the personal data within the meaning of the European Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Accordingly, we hereby inform you pursuant to Article 13 of the GDPR.

  • Data Controller. The Data Controller is Dr. Martin Kock with address at Malsenstr. 17, 80638 Munich, Germany.
  • Purpose and legal basis of data processing. The purpose of processing your PERSONAL DATA is to perform and administer your booking of Villa Serendipità. The legal basis of our data processing is the provision of Villa Serendipità as a vacation home in accordance with the terms of the booking contract and the vacation rental owed to you.
  • Contractual obligation. In order for us to provide the services you have requested us to provide, you may need to provide us with PERSONAL DATA. If you do not provide us with important PERSONAL DATA, we may not be able to provide Villa Serendipità as a vacation rental to you.
  • Recipient. Your PERSONAL DATA may be disclosed to, for example, us as the owners of Villa Serendipità, our outside consultants, government agencies and authorities, public courts, as well as their employees, and other individuals or entities for the purposes of providing Villa Serendipità as a vacation home and conducting our business. 
  • International Data Transfers. Your Personal Data may be transferred to any country within or outside the European Union (EU) in connection with the performance of the requested services or the operation of our business. We will comply with applicable international data transfer requirements for transfers from the EU to third countries or international organizations outside the EU to ensure adequate safeguards required under Article 46(1) of the GDPR.
  • Data Retention. Your Personal Data will be stored for the duration of the provision of Villa Serendipità as a vacation home and may be retained by us beyond the termination of the contract relationship in accordance with statutory retention obligations.
  • Data Subject Rights. You, as a data subject, have the right to information and to request access to or rectification or restriction of the processing of your Personal Data or to object to the processing as well as the right to data portability, under certain circumstances.
  • Right to lodge a Complaint. Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority in case you consider that the processing of your Personal Data infringes applicable Data Protection laws.
